Not sure what to say?

The Josephinum community offers our sincerest condolences to the family and loved ones of an honored alumnus.

Uncle Philip was a caring and understanding man. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

It was with great sadness that we read of the passing of our friend and classmate Father Philip.

We will miss him.

Thank you for everything. I owe you a great deal. I will miss you my friend.

We were fortunate to meet Fr. Phil during his tenure at St. Catherine Laboure. We were blessed to call him our friend and further blessed to have him marry us in 1999.

Over the years, we've shared laughter and tears. We will miss him greatly.

It was a priviledge and honor to work with Fr Phil all these years
We had many laughs and serious talks about "travel adventures" I will miss my early morning trips up to Bonneauville to plan and go over the group trips
God Bless you Phil and keep you in His Arms ...

Father DeChico was an enthusiastic supporter of the Cursillo Movement. He made many accommodations to his parish facilities so they could be available for Cursillo 3-Day Weekends. He allowed the Spirit to flow through him as spiritual director on the weekends he worked over the past few years. We remember him fondly and missed him greatly.

We will miss you greatly. You were a friend and an inspiration.

Father Philip and I have known each other since first grade at St. Patrick Catherdal School. We made our first Communion's there and eventually attended Bishop McDevitt HS.

Philip and I stayed in touch thorughout his seminary days. My most recent chat with him was to tell him that I was retiring.

I will miss Philip but am consoled that one day we will see each other again.

Good-bye Philip and God bless.
