Not sure what to say?

Dr.Degroot was my statics professor at CSU in 2007. It was the only class I had the highest grade on one of the exams and he even wrote me a recommendation. Dr.Degroot was a great person and I was shocked to find out of his passing on the CSU magazine.

I remember Phil from PMC, he was a great guy.

Prof DeGroot was my favorite professor during my masters work at Cleveland State. He was a superb teacher. I was embarking on a second career and he was only a few years older than me. I was saddened to learn of his passing.

I was a student of Dr. DeGroot 20 some years ago. He liked his timer. One for the start of class and one for the 10 minute break. If your homework was not in by timer 1 he would not accept it. He was truly one of my favorite college professors and a strong influence in my engineering carrier. I am saddened in his passing.

I graduated from Padua with Phil - he was a good fellow and fine classmate. My sincere condolences to his family. Deus, Meus et Omnia.

We are all very grateful to have gotten to know Dr. Phil during his tenure as a volunteer physics and math tutor. We know first-hand the profound impact that he made as he tutored, and frankly, mentored local college students. He had many members of his fan club! Phil was willingly and graciously of service to others and very involved in his profession. ...
