Not sure what to say?

Phil You were one of my best friends growing up and Sayler Park . I was in your wedding. I'm so glad that we got together before Tony passed away. Now you too are together again. Hope to see you again in heaven. Pat & George Schwab.

Served with Phil at Udorn RTAFB '67/68. In the last few years he would always be concerned with my wife and my own health issues. His focus was not on himself. He was just a great guy. Condolences to all his loved ones. t

I have just learned of Phil's passing today. We worked together for over 20 years and I can think of no finer person in every way. He was a good soul with a kind heart. He would always try to help and do what he could for others. I respected him and looked up to him. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Dear Dettmer Family:

I am expressing this on behalf of the entire office of The Cincinnati Post Retail Advertising Department from the late 70's (1977-1979) when I worked with Phil. This includes those of us on earth and those who are slapping Phil on the back in heaven.

Dear Lord...

Thank you for Phil Dettmer!

He was our "sparkplug!" He kept us lose...made the office fun...added a few "choice" words from time-to-time during those...

So sorry to hear about Phil. A good father, grandfather and friend will be missed.

I am so sorry about your loss Anna! You sure loved your dad well and he must have been an extraordinary man to have raised such a caring and wonderful daughter. I am praying for you and your family.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your father I was in your mom and dad's wedding we were best friends growing up I met you at your mother's funeral our sincere condolences George and Pat Schwab. So sorry we can't make the service

He was a dear friend of mine especially when I was in high school ...and always . He was overseas and we wrote to each other all the time. A very favorite person to me. You had wonderful parents.

Love,
Cousin Jan

Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your dear one. May the " God of all comfort " be with you and fill your hearts with wonderful memories of Philip to cherish.
