Not sure what to say?

Dear Jim,
My sympathy and prayers to you and your family. We are related (second cousins). Fr. Phil and I did share many thoughts and family about our lives. I never met you but Fr. Phil did speak of you often. Again my prayers to you.
Sister Martha Thomas Baier,CDP

So sorry to hear of Phil's passing...may he rest in peace

Rich, Mary Kay,

My sympathy to you and your family. May your memories sustain you today, tomorrow and in the future.

I knew Fr. Phil only in recent years from his wonderful homilies at St. John Neumann parish in Franklin Park. They were funny yet extremely thought provoking; you knew they came from deep wisdom and a love for God. Lord, remember Fr. Phil whom You have called from this life. In baptism, he died with Christ, may he now share in Your resurrection.

My prayers go out for Fr. Phil and his family!

Terry Yunker (Ed's sister)

My dear cousin. He fought the long battle with that horrible cancer. Of course, as a family member, we have lots of memories of Phil ... the many weddings and baptisms. One dear memory for me, I was telling Phil about my interest in Thomas Merton.. he gave me a gift of a book on Thomas Merton and it is one of many in my collection. I loved Phil's laugh. He is now among the many Fink family members who have left our world. We miss them all. My sympathy to Jimmy, Rich and Mary Kay.

Peace be with you, Phil!!! Heaven now has another saint.
