To all my Gillette cousins, Please take comfort in knowing that your family is truly unique- to have such a big family and to still be so close to each other is a testament to your Dad and Mom. I am sure in the next days and weeks there will be many shoulders to lean on for support. Take comfort in knowing Uncle Phil [and Aunt Pauline] will never be forgotten- but definitely missed. Love, cousin Bob Crafts

How sad we couldn't be with the family at this time. I have such warm and fun memories of my old babysitter on Preston Street, Malden. How he used to visit my mother to bum money (usually $5 or $10) for his date. And how he always remembered to call me GayGay - how that happened I'll never know. I don't believe he called me Gail - and for that I shall always feel honored. Thank you, God, for giving us Cousin Phil, his family, and our everlasting memories.
Rest in Peace.

To the Gillette Family - I remember Philip very well. I was 8 years old when he was born. The first grandhild for my parents - Edith & Philip. All eight Aunts and Uncles were delighted with our new nephew. In later days whenever I visited Boston Ethel, Philip, Dick and I would go out to dinner for great Boston fish dinners and have a hoot of a good time. Many memories that I will never forget. Philip will be sadly missed he was a great nephew and loved his family. Lots of Love to all. ...

To the Gillettes,
I was so sad to hear about your Dad, my Uncle. He was one of the best. I have so many memories of him there are too many to list.
He was like a second father to me when I was young, he was a funny, caring and loving man and also knew when to keep me on the right path. I have always respected and loved him and I will never forget him.
I wish I could have pulled his finger 1 last time.

With My Deepest Sympathy and Love,

Dear Gillette Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. We hope that it helps to know that your friends are praying for you all.

With Sympathy,

Dear Gillette Family,

I wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. My family and I got to know Phil over the years, and he was always so kind to us. I remember what a great grandfather he was to my nephews, Mike and Zach, and how much they loved him. For such a big family, you all have stayed so close, and that's a testament to both your Mom and Dad. I hope that knowing they are together again will bring you some comfort in the days ahead. God bless!

Love,
Kristen Flynn
