One day Mr. Guinta handed me the keys to his Seville and sent me on an errand, never once showing an ounce of worry, but all the confidence of a trusted employee. It was the first time I'd driven a car. My first day of work in his store on October 5th 1985 changed my life and...

Mr. Guinta graciously displayed the artwork of 20 senior citizens all around his beautiful store. It was such a splendid exhibit the Sun Newspapers wrote a great story (with wonderful photos of the art.) He provide a s=great memory for these seniors.

I worked for Phil for 7 years at both of his Stop-n-Shops. I used to check in everything that got delivered to the store among almost everything else except cutting meat. He used to pay me to drive Nina´s car down to Florida every winter. My condolences to Delphine (I doubt she´d remember me) and the rest of the family.

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to the Giunta family . I worked for Phil and the family for seven years during my high school and college days . It was an invaluable experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. Phil was always smiling and was very patient and supportive of us guys who would like to joke around . When Marietta and Nina Ann would come in the store , Phil would soon appear knowing that we would be looking for the girls and he would escort us back to our jobs. He was always happy...
