Of Delray Beach, FL. Born to Eternal Life October 18, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Born on February 13, 1915 to Philip and Antonina (nee LaPiana) Guzzetta. Preceded in death by his beloved first wife Ann E. (nee Suchomel) and his loving son Denis. Beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Piironen). Loving father of Kathleen (Jeff) Hoehne, Susan (Richard) Davis, Philip Jr. (Cathie), John (Pam), Paul (Jean), Robert (Gayle) and William (Ann). Proud grandpa of fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Further survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Philip graduated from Marquette University and Marquette University Medical School and in 1939 joined the Navy and married Ann. He was a career surgeon in the United States Navy, serving in World War II in both the European and Pacific theaters and retired in 1953 from the Navy. He returned to Milwaukee and joined the Guzzeta Clinic at 2nd and North Ave., to practice with his father and uncles. Philip was a member of the medical staff in General Surgery at Milwaukee County, Miseracordia, St. Joseph and Elmbrook Hospitals. He served as Chief of Surgery at Elmbrook Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on November 12 at St. John Vianney Church (1755 N. Calhoun Rd.) at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
