Barbara - I was most sad to hear of Phil's passing. He was one of the most important mentors in my life, and though we did not remain in close contact, he has been, and will remain, often in my thoughts. Ann and I send you our deepest condolences.

A busy life and most productive! We certainly remember Phil's telling of his early morning walks down to the Town Lake trail - very inspiring... And I loved seeing your apartment at Cambridge Towers - what a special view of our Capitol! We miss you both here in Austin! Too many losses from that thing called...
