Not sure what to say?

I just discovered that Phil Hendel passed away a couple of months ago. Phil Hendel was a kind and gentle man. During my 20 years with the Commercial Law League of America, I had the privilege of working with Phil. During that time, we became friends and broke bread together often - a couple of times with my wife and young daughter. I think Phil was worried about our 5 year old accompanying us to a multi-star restaurant he enjoyed but much to his surprise and pleasure, she not only was...

My deepest condolences. I worked at Commercial Law League for many years long ago and he was a mentor, scholar, true gentleman. I loved being on committees with him for his knowledge, intelligence, kindness and pragmatism. One of the greats. I hope you know what a meaningful impact your dad/granddad had on his profession and those around him.

Dear Joy, Daniel and William, We read the news of Phil´s passing with great sadness for the loss of a cherished friend for many years and from what seems like long ago forged at CLLA conventions. Patty and I send you our most sincere condolences. David Rubin

my deepest condolences to a wonderful human being and fantastic attorney my very best to the family larry schntz

Phil certainly was a pillar in the legal community. Always had a smile on his face and willing to work with anyone. Worked for the court for close to forty years and if something was needed all I had to do was ask. After retiring and started a practice he was there to help me with his expertise You had a wonderful father

Phil was one of the finest lawyers I had the privilege to know. I first met Phil when I opened my office at 31 Elm Street in 1978. I was a new sole practitioner and Phil was a member of KBH, probably one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in Springfield at the time. Despite the vast difference in our status as attorneys, I was constantly awed by Phil's knowledge and skill. He always had time to talk to me and give me advice. Through the years he became my friend. Meeting him in...

I have had the pleasure of knowing Philip and his beautiful wife Margaret for many years. They were such a caring an loving couple. I use to visit Philip while he was in the assisted living. He would constantly speak about his lovely wife Margaret, he loved her so . My condolences to you Aaron and the family .

Phil inspired me to be the best lawyer I could be. A true Mensch. I miss him.

With great sorrow We offer my condolences to the Hendel Family. Russ and Pam Omer
