11 years ago he gave my husband hope he might feel good again and sure enough, he did. My husband was really sick. He has been the one and only doctor my husband ever considered a friend and looked forward to seeing. Even after moving from So. Ca. we would drive hundreds or fly thousands of miles to keep him as my husband's dr. After his death my husband found a new dr. She knew Dr. Phil as you call him, she, too, was an infectious disease specialist and we are now on the Gulf of Mexico.

You, Phil, were an amazing man. You touched the lives of so many strangers, but most importantly, your family. I pray every day that your girls grow up to be outstanding citizens like you (I'm sure they already are) and that your step-son matures to be at least half the man you were (quite the task). Lord knows the world needs more people like you in it. I miss you old friend.

Philly i miss you sooo muchh!!
i love you

Love You Forever!

Dear Hon, It has been 6 months and 6 days since your passing. The void you left behind is nothing shy of a black hole. I pray that when you were here, blessing us with your presence, that you knew how deeply we all loved you, how special you made us all feel, and I will never, ever be able to Thank You enough for the endless generosity and care that you extended to us ALL. We sprinkled your ashes on your favorite places in Nacula, all of our fruit trees, and in a few days we are returning...
