Six years ago Phil left us for a better place. I still miss him. Rest in peace, my friend. Joy I hope the lord is giving you his comfort and strength.

Twenty years ago Phil helped me to plan a dreamed of trip to Oregon. He spent two long and thoughtful emails suggesting places to see in detail and after seeing my itinerary, made gentle suggestions for change. We're doing the trip again and I just found the documents I saved from twenty years ago. I was again touched by his 'gift' long ago and googled his name to find out what he was up to these days. I was saddened to learn of his passing but I decided to post this so that perhaps...

I just found out about Phil's death. We grew up together and for 10 years since 2000 we got together every summer and also did work on family history together. We are so sorry Joy.

Our mothers Miriam and Lorene Heath were sisters and I am sorry to lose one of my few first cousins. Loved your help with family geneology and love to the entire family
