Not sure what to say?

Phil was one of the best. He was so easy to work with. I was so thrilled when he joined our team at CAMC. He cared so deeply for his family, friends and patients. He went above and beyond daily to ensure everyone was taken care of. Often staying late to make sure things were done. He touched so many lives, and was loved by so many. He will never be forgotten. Phil was definitely one of a kind! His quick wit and comebacks were legendary! Nikki was the joy of his life (and fishing) and I never knew a father more proud of his daughter. We will all miss him tremendously.

Phil was an amazing Social Worker and will greatly be missed. I know he is fishing in heaven. I worked with Phil at Carilion several years ago.

Hugs and prayers

We loved seeing Phil and exploring parts of Virginia with him. Most of the time we were seen just sitting around and sharing stories. He will be deeply missed and our hearts go out to the family left behind.

Phil was a good at his job and always friendly to everyone he was around. He will be miss very much. RIP friend.

Phil was an amazing man and will be missed every day.
