Not sure what to say?

He was a darling little MK! And became a handsome one, too! I loved him as my MK KID!!!

One of the sweetest young men I have ever known, also he was my MK nephew!!

Yes, I remember Philip when he was a young man at First Baptist Church, Richmond. I admired his faithfulness in attendance and his commitment to Christ through his life and service. Love and blessings to his family. His ministry lives on through them.

We pray that the Lord surrounds your family with His peace and comfort during this time of loss. Sam and Rachel, we learned so many things from you during our Journeyman training time in 1980, and I am sure it was only a glimpse of all that Phillip learned from you both during his lifetime. Please know...

May the Lord surround you with His peace and comfort during this time of loss. Sam and Rachel, I am sure you were so proud of Phillip. He accomplished much in his short life, and obviously, kept the Lord at the forefront of all that he did. We love you and will always cherish our Journeyman training days with you. - Jack and Shawn Hodges

Our prayers are with this wonderful family. We remember Sam and Rachel with fond memories from our Journeyman training days. May God surround your with comfort and peace during this difficult time. You are loved. - Jack and Shawn

I am so very sorry to hear about Philip’s passing. Although I did not have the privilege of knowing him, his precious parents touched my life through the Journeyman Program through the IMB. What an amazing family!

I am so sorry to hear of Phil's illness & passing. I will let our Journeyman 1980-82 group know of this. Please know that the James family will be in our thoughts & prayers.

I am so sad to hear of Philip's passing. I was a fraternity brother of his from Mars Hill College. He was a fine person, Christian, and musician. And, by reading his obituary touched many lives in his daily walk with Christ. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
