Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathies go out to Phil's family. I just found out today that he had passed. I had not seen Phil since our days at Quinnipiac in the late 1960's, but had reconnected with him on Facebook. He was a nice guy, a leader, and a friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

My condolences to the family, for the loss of your loved one. May the God of all comfort, Ps.83 : 18, Comfort you and yours during your time of mourning.

We celebrate the life of Phil Joffe. He made us think, laugh, & examined life in all its nuances. Our lives are better because of him. Our thoughts are with his loved ones & friends. He was a treasue! Till we meet again ! Gordon & Rita

Phil was family...to me and to Sara and Emily too...Todd, Ryay, Howard, Lynn...and to the whole family my deepest sympathies to all of ...my heart goes out to, those here in Charlotte who knew him are all grieving with you. Phil was a dear friend and we spoke often online...I will miss his humor and insight..his love of for all of you...and his love for Israel...I do not have all the words to express how I am feeling...know he loved you all very much and he will be missed, may his memory...

I only knew Phil briefly, but he was a true gentleman and a scholar. He had an incredible sense of humor and was one of the wittiest people I know.
He always spoke fondly of his sons, Todd and Ryan, and was so very proud of them.

So sorry to hear of his passing and he will be sorely missed!

Enjoy your fly fishing, Phil, and enjoy the time with your Dad.

God Bless.........Ann

We were so shocked to hear the sad news of Phil's death. He was such a special part of our lives, and we will always remember him for his kindness and great sense of humor. I'm sure he and his dad are laughing together up in Heaven right now. Thank you for all the great memories. Donna, Suzanne, and Scott Averett

Deepest Condolences from me and my husband. We always looked forward to the days when Phil would stop in to see us - his stories were always entertaining and his words of encouragement and praise were wise and sincere. We never met Phil's sons, but the way he spoke of them made us feel like we knew them and oh how he loved them....and how proud he was to be their father. Our thoughts and prayers will be with his family.

I only got to meet you once but it certainly was a lasting memory. Todd and I were working together years ago and you were visiting him. I see where Todd got his charisma, work ethic and personality! My thoughts and prayers are with Todd and Ryan.
