Read MoreI first met Phil by chance on the golf course and we had a lot in common. Later, I saw him at Sacred Heart Church and we talked even more. I was somewhat surprised about how he felt about the loss of his grandson. He was a great guy.

Dearest Family,
My condolences to the family. So many memories, to many to share, most involve salmon, mac & cheese and whiskey soup dinners. But most of all I will always remember the love Phil had for his family. How he always talked with pride about each one of you. I will miss the laughter Phil and I shared and his never ending kindness. It is just like Phil to join his beloved Mary Lou in April. I adored Phil and will greatly miss him.
