I realize this is way after Dr Kruger’s passing, but I hope this somehow gets to Dr Phillip Kruger’s family.
My name is Kristie Graham Roberts. In 1972, I spent the last 5 months of my senior year of high school at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr Kruger was my assigned physician and became a good friend and confidante. He and his family attended my high school graduation. Soon after I was released from NIH, I was honored to be asked to provide childcare to...

Phil and I went to high school, college and med school together and both practiced in the Pacific northwest. We also sang together in a high school a cappella quartet, "The Crystals" which won the all school talent show in 1956. Sadly, we did not keep in close touch over the last 40+ years, but I never forgot him. Rest in peace my friend.

I worked for years with Dr. Krueger at Treasure valley hospital and it was always a pleasure. He treated us with respect and was always so nice. His patients loved him too! I missed him when he retired. So sorry for you loss

We had the privilege of Dr. Krueger's wonderful professional service and bedside manners for our 2 babies born in 1981 and 1984. He was a compassionate and skilled Obstetrician. He treated us with individual interest and care. We will truly miss him in so many ways. Dr. Philip Kruger has left a remarkable legacy in Boise, ID and in our hearts.
We send our deepest sympathy, prayers and love to all of his family.

Phil Krueger was more than a doctor to me for more than 30 years, he was somebody I could talk to about anything during my annual examination. We would chat about politics, the economy, his work, my work, the state of the world, and medical advancements. The last time I saw him, the year he retired, I was crushed that he was closing his practice. He lamented the effects of Obamacare and its bureaucratic burdens. But we had one glorious moment when I asked him, "Who do you like for President...

I had the honor of knowing Dr. Krueger as a patient of his and as an instructor for his Childbirth Classes. He was always professional, compassionate, and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for his patients. He was a true gentleman. What a legacy he leaves. Our thoughts are with the family, especially Allyn, as they cope with this major loss in their lives.
