THE REVEREND PHILIP SINCLAIR KRUG

It is with a heavy heart that I
write a note of sympathy from one of his adopted churches. We at the First Congregational Church in Park Ridge dearly loved Pastor Phil and delighted in having him fill our pulpit on many occasions. He referred to himself as a "Congrepalian" when introducing himself to our congregation. His warmth, charm and love will be remembered by all.

Reverend Krug was not only our family's minister at St. Peter's in Weston, MA until 1975; he and Lee were our neighbors on Rolling Lane, where my sisters and I hung out with their kids. Beautiful memories of Christmas caroling parties, trick or treating at Halloween (Krugs had the best decorations), junior choir or acolyting at church, etc. and always Phil's compassion and humor. Phil and Lee also became lifelong friends to my parents. Lord, thank You for this dear man and a life well lived....

We were fortunate to have Pastor Krug as our minister while at St Pauls where he baptized our children Erica and Gregory I believe Erica was one of his first babies.
Phil had a wonderful way of healing families who were in pain after loss . His final note to us was for our son Gregory ,who passes away Christmas 2013, He was not able to make the service, but his note we will treasure.
