Not sure what to say?

We were deeply saddened to hear of Phil's death. Although we started off as "customers" we quickly became friends. Phil's love of life and his family were always evident, never more so than in his last valiant fight to live. Our deepest sympathies to his family – and to Skip whose special friendship with Phil since childhood which continued throughout their lives is a treasure not many have had. Caroline and Howard Cooper, Chevy Chase, Maryland

We can never forget the things you have done us us. The loyality you gave us is in our hearts forever. We shall miss our old friend. God Bless You and your wonderful family.

Bob Padgett (Pinkerton Tobacco)

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are so sorry to hear about Phil. Doug Hall stopped by last night and gave us the news.

Take Care.

God bless my cousin, Phil, and may his soul rest in peace. He was an outstanding husband and father. He generously served our country --in the U. S. Army-- in the early '60s. He was a tremendous success in business, as well as in giving his time and talent to his parish. We have always been proud of him, and have loved him and his family dearly.
