Not sure what to say?

I was just notified of Phil's passing. Phil was a great down -to- earth man and a Western MA legend, who always looked out for young people. He had a sense of humor that made us laugh and think. Phil is sorely missed by everyone he knew.

Elyse, Victoria and family, I am so sorry to hear of Phil´s passing. He was a great person and will be missed by so many who knew him. I will always cherish the times we spent together and remember a wonderful couple. My heartfelt condolences. Warmly Kenia Caputo

Sad to hear of his passing. I work at a convenience store in Longmeadow where he would stop in several times a week for his newspaper. He was a very sweet man. He spoke lovingly of his wife who I was lucky to also meet several times. He is missed.

He was a very friendly and sweet man in spite of the fact that social injustice and prejudice always enraged him even as he tried to do something about it. His beautiful smile...

Victoria, So sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I will keep you and your family in prayer.

To Elyse, Children, and Family, I was so sad to read about Phil. We were law school classmates and friends for 4 long, night school years, grinding it out with cheer! We had many encounters, some daily, at the Hall of Justice for many years. I have fond memories visiting at your home when ours kids were crawling on the floor! Phil was a great guy, the best. He was a weather vane for the legal system, and what might be your next, best move! Please accept my condolences for your loss...
