Not sure what to say?

I had an appointment with the ophthalmologist this past week and however good they were I continue to miss you and be thankful for your care of many years.

Dr. Lempert and his wife shared some wonderful recollections of their heartwarming life events. Talking with them was uplifting because of a sense of inner strength and quiet appreciation.

I continue to think of you. You were the best Dr. I ever had, with a very interesting life.

As long as I have a memory, I will never forget you Dr. Lempert. Such a kind, caring person.

Once upon a time in the mid 1980s when I was a 22-year-old fresh-out-of-college young guy traveling around on a bicycle, I pedaled into Ithaca and met Philip at a bicycle shop. He promptly invited me to his home, to stay with his family. I had a wonderful experience. I am appreciative to this day of his generosity. Thank you Philip and Lempert family. R.I.P. sir.

I was sad and shocked to hear of Dr Lempert's passing. He was a wonderful doctor and a great gentleman! My husband and I were his patients till he retired and after that we often saw Dr Lempert and Mrs Lempert either on the bus coming back from a trip to New York or at Cinemapolis. There was always a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. And after chatting of this and that it always veered to their children. How happy and proud both were of them! Happy to talk of them too. Dr Lempert...

I was so saddened to hear of Dr. Lempert's passing. I had the pleasure of working for him during my high-school years as well as a year or so after I graduated 99-02'.
Without question, the highlight of my day was listening to all of his extraordinary tales. Even if I was young, naive, and half the time they went over my head; he always had a way to spin them into some sort of life advice for me. He had a kindness unmatched by many and the patience of a saint. I will never forget the time...

So sorry to hear of his passing. He was my Dr. for many years & was awesome. Always made me feel at ease. Peace to his family.
