Philip Lindsay passed away on September 3, 2017 in Seattle, Washington. The obituary was featured in The Seattle Times on September 17, 2017.
I just learned of Dr Lindsay's passing this morning. I was a patient of his from 1996 to his retirement and can easily define him in one word; class. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Farewell, Dr Lindsay.

We knew Philip in his early years of marriage (We were at your wedding!) and of his psychiatric practice, and he demonstrated an intelligent pursuit of excellence in professional and family matters. Kudos, Phil! And warm wishes for Sue and the Lindsay family.

In 1970, Dr Lindsay saved my life in the emergency room of Valley Medical Center, when he was doing his residency there. I had complications from lupus and encephalitis in the brain. At that time I should have died, but didn't and I am so very grateful to him for that. He went on to become my personal physician for many years after that. I was extremely saddened to see he passed away. Rest in Peace, Dr Lindsay.
