Not sure what to say?

My big brother Phil was quiet, strong and kind. He loved to "putter around" the garage or the yard. It was only in the last years through email that I discovered his wonderful sense of humor even more. We miss him! Jesus came for him so suddenly, but we know he was spared more pain and that through his faith in Jesus, he's now in heaven.

When we were growing up, my brother Phil was big and strong, and he could easily wrestle three of us younger siblings at once. But he also protected us and taught us many things about life. He was a mechanical whiz, and he had a soft heart and a kind word for everyone. He loved his family, and we all loved him. We will deeply miss you, dear brother! Rest in peace from your labors, and rejoice in your life with Christ.

My Papa Phil was very special to me. He was the picture perfect grandfather. He spoiled us grandkids with attention, sweets, and plenty of activities to take part in. He never turned us away when we would ask him to clear a path in the woods for us or make us a new sign to hang up back there. I remember him working so hard to build many big fires so we could roast marshmallows for smores. I will remember all those moments for the rest of my life and look back on what a wonderful man he was in...

My stepdad, Phil, was a quiet man, but ever so present and willing to join in with all the crazy activities that we conjured up. Phil was a source of comfort to be around and I always sensed his love and dedication to his family and to the Lord. He will be missed. Staci

Phil will always be remembered as the ever humble, attentive and friendly gentleman. His quiet and caring nature reflected a necessary calm in the midst of an indifferent, apathetic and complex world. In our heart(s), Phil remains the "salt of the earth" that defines the better attributes of humanity. He will be sorely missed.

Pa-Pa Phil was a kind, caring, giving, and loving man who will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.Four year old Emily barely got to know him but will never forget him. It's a comfort to know that he was at peace with himself and the Lord.
