Deepest condolences to the Luebbert Family...Although he was a year ahead of me, Fr. Phil was a former roommate at St. Benedict's College. We often shared great conversations re God and man. It was Phil who inspired me to obtain a second major in philosophy. We stayed in contact over the years and I was privileged to attend his ordination to the priesthood just a few years ago.
I will always treasure Phil's friendship and keep him in my prayers. May the angels and saints welcome him...

Condolences to the family. Phil and I were classmates at Conception Seminary. We played many hearts and spades in the evenings. He was a great guy.

Fr Phil was a good person and a conscientious priest. I knew him when he attended St Benedict's and I was at the Mount in Atchison. We reconnected a few years ago when he was at St John LaLande in Blue Springs, where my brother was a parishioner. May he be blessed for the good work he did and may his soul rest in peace.
