Phil Lynch was a complex, smart and thoughtful person who was a friend of mine. He was an a passonate internationalist, entrepreneur and American. He left a rich legacy of memories to those who knew him and an unforgettable character. A great loss for Cleveland.

I never met Philip Lynch face-to-face, but for 15 years he and I have become close personal friends through correspondence and our many telephone conversations-- often while he was at the airport in some distand city.
