Sorry for your loss. I didn't know Phil that well, but we could talk about cars. He liked his old cars.

Phil fought a valiantly.in the final phase of life. It is always so difficult for loved ones to see our physical decline. Phil had so many enviable qualities in a man and we can all remember those and the radiance he had. May the impact of his life be felt among his loved ones and may Gods grace and comfort cover you all. Marilyn, your daily love and care for Phil Is inspirational. May you also find peace in Him. My best to the family and all close to Phil.

I will miss you terribly daddy. Life will never be the same. I have already picked up my phone to call you several times in the last week, just to talk about something silly that happened or made me laugh, something that I thought you would find funny. I will do my best to stay strong and make you proud of me, so, until we meet again, I love you with all my heart!

The photo in Phil's obituary could not have been better chosen---a man with creative humor who loved and lived life. There are many of us who counted him as friend who knew him as smart, witty, energetic and always true to his word and sense of integrity. And while always there for a friend, there was no one he held in greater esteem than his best friend and wife Marilyn. We're saddened by Phil's passing but comforted by the knowledge that no one ever received better care and devotion. ...
