Read MorePhil will be missed. Always enjoyed our talks as we walked the trail behind our house. He took my bike in for service on several occasions. I would leave it in the driveway and he would ride it to work and back and give me the bill. Our condolences to the Mann family.

I have fond memories of Flying Phil. I never raced against him that he didn't beat me soundly. Taught me a lot, way back then. RIP old friend!

I always looked forward to seeing Phil at the shop. We would exchange stories of long travels esp. in the north country. I envied his job at BMWGR and if I didn't live a 125 miles away I'd have been his co-worker. Wonderful man, may he rest in peace. My condolences to all who knew him and those who didn't.

I have great memories of motorcycling with Phil starting nearly 70 years ago. I learned a lot about doing the next to impossible on a motorcycle from him. We sure had some crazy fun! My sincere condolences to his family.
