Philip J. Mantoni

Phil as many of you know was my college roommate and best friend; miss the jokes, quips and teasing. Recall, jumping into his car as he drove the back roads to visit our friend Bob Colby in North Adams. Phil was a "sounding board" as I incessantly vented, talked about life's happenings and all the good times at MCLA. The back and forth dialogue was precious--- I miss Phil more than ever.

Just discussing Phil the other day...I was always amazed at his knowledge of Springfield history and events!..Hard to believe a year had past!

Dear Sue and family, I was shocked to hear of Phil's passing. He was always so generous to Mark and I. So many memories from you're beach house and Zanetti School. We laughed alot. This is really a great loss,.heaven only takes the best. You will be in my thoughtsand prayers. Again please accept my deepest sympathy.
