Not sure what to say?

Almost 30 years ago I saw one of their shows in Danville and had the pleasure of dining with Phil and the Tokens at the Legion across the street afterwards. I'll never forget it.

I remember seeing him at the Los Angeles county fair. It was good. I really did enjoy myself. They sounded just like their record. May he rest in peace.

Phil and I attended Lincoln HS together. I'll never forget sitting in the Margo living room to listen to and give an opinion about The Lion Sleeps Tonight. I thought it was great....and it was. I'm so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. My sincere condolences to his family. Many fond memories Phil and Mitch in the family house on Ocean Parkway.

Oh gosh I just found out! I’m so sorry Jay Siegel and tokens. I love all of you, way back to my childhood in the 1960’s and 70’s. I guess he’s reunited with his brother Mitch now, and fellow Token Hank Medress. That leaves Jay as the last living original Token, God bless his heart. RIP Philip, hope you are happy to see your baby brother again.

My condolences.

I offer you my thoughts, prayers and well-wishes during this this time in your life. Thessalonians 4:14For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.

Fantastic group and music. I was in high school when the Tokens recorded “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”. Brings back many great memories. My condolences to the family. May God bless you in your sorrow.

Thanks for the memories. I was a Junior in high school when this came out.

My deepest condolences to the family. May you find comfort
in your treasured memories of Your loved one and May God continue to comfort you in the days, months and years ahead. Psalms 119:76
