Oh my goodness we have been out of touch so long I had no idea that the world had lost you. You were like the father I never had the times we spent the things we did. I will always hold dear. In my heart. I´m so sad that I´m just finding out of your passing, my deepest sympathies to your family. My heart is broken. Going to miss you my friend. Been a long time since your apartment building on Saint Clair were me and Rochelle lived working on your cars and trucks and just hanging out with you....

You loved me when i couldn't love myself. So many times i would fall, and so many times you were there to pick me back up.
It would crack me up to hear you laugh at your own jokes. Although, i know one day we
laugh together again. You truely saved my life Phil, and for that i am forever greatful. I love you and miss you terribly. Until we meet again my dear friend. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten......

May the God of all comfort and a promised hope, be with the family at this very sad and difficult time.

I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Mathis. To his daughters he spoke very highly of you all, he is in good hands. I will forever miss his wisdom and silly giggle and grin.
