Not sure what to say?

Hey boss, I come on here regularly just to see you and read from people that knew you. I wanted to write something since I am always here to just remind everyone what an amazing man you were. Thank you for everything you have taught me. We are still saving lives, and I am keeping your old school medicine alive. You are always missed but never forgotten. See you again friend - Thumper

Sincere condolences . Would Linda or Tara please contact me? 905-574-0554 or email [email protected]. We have not seen since Durand days in he 1970's. Hope we can talk.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Maurice in his early years in Camarillo and Thousand Oaks. I was a technician for he and Dr. Murthy. I recall fondly the evenings we spent remodeling the Camarillo office as well as the inordinate amount of time we devoted to wallpapering, cabinet finishing, painting, etc., in the Thousand Oaks office. You were such a light that illuminated the darkest corners where answers hid for your patients. I think of you often and wish so much that you were here as my doctor - and also just as a wonderful person who cared. I thank God that you were in my life and helped me and so many others. In the true sense of love, you knew how to love. I miss you and I miss Darc too.

I miss you so much, forever on my mind and in my heart.

Love,
Thumper

Phil and I were friends and neighbours starting in 1952. We went to the same schools, had many of the same friends and finally both went to McMaster University and graduated as doctors. We lost contact as he went to California but I often thought of him over the years. His great intelligence, sardonic humour and intense interest in a wide variety of topics will be greatly missed.

Phil was a senior resident when we were in training and I lost contact when he moved to California. I remember dinners at his home,a rental apt in a large stone building, where he was recreating the original 14 inch baseboards with hand chisels. Sort of spoke to how he did not do things the easy way. I revered him and sorry to have lost contact.
