Very saddened to hear of Uncle Phil's passing. My wife Lori and I extend our deepest sympathies to Aunt Pat,Susan,Karen,David and Michael in their time of grief. Uncle Phil was one of the smartest and nicest gentlemen i'd ever known Rest in peace and God bless..

I just read the sad news of the passing Philip Mauro. What a wonderful person. I have many fond memories of Phil. From approximately 1968 through 1991, while working for the Township of Wall and the Wall Township Board of Education, I purchased paint from Phil while he was working for Con-Lux and over the years we became friends. To the Mauro Family
Mr Mauro was the true epitome of what a father , and what a man strives to be.I had many conversations with him at Dunkin Donuts after the passing of my dad , and it seemed as if my dad was still with me . It saddens me now that he has passed on I will miss our talks . They varied in subject , but were always enjoyed . Rest in peace Mr Mauro I love and respect you too much to ever not to call you Mr Mauro.

My dear lovely Mauro family....my heart breaks for all of you. I loved him so much.....he was family, as you all are...I just loved him so much. He always had a kind word or some sort of wisdom even when I just ran into him on the street. The world has lost a great man..but heaven is very happy today!!! I love you all.
