Not sure what to say?

Belated condolences to the entire family . Spent many days consulting with Phil at the JI Tennis Courts ! He played I watched .
Vey proud of his family . Jim and I spent a lot of time out together , my particular apologies being so late !

We miss you and all the fond memories we've shared here in Maine---why we keep on thinking you are about to walk in the door!! Praise God we will laugh again in the Eternal City. Love and blessings to all your family

To say that we lost a great man with Phil is truly an understatement. I regret that I knew him for such a short time, but in that time his brilliant energy, intellect, and consideration of others profoundly influenced me.
And thank you Phil for that experience.

Caroline and I extend our condolences to all that were close to him.

My friend from age 14 , a remarkable man , self made , a brilliant student , successful in all aspects of a full life , a joy to be with but you had to be at your best to keep up with this dynamic personality and it be best to have a sense of humor as Phils was the best . Thanks for the great times but losing you Phil takes away a big part of my life . I love you Phil .....

Take time to cherish the happy memories! May he rest in peace.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I will certainly miss our chats together Chairman of the Round Table!

I will miss one of my favorite tennis playing friends at Johns Island. May you RIP.
