Not sure what to say?

I'm not at all surprised that Phil is being remembered so fondly today by so many people from both St. Mary's and Butterworth/HDVCH. I'll never forget Phil's going away reception at Butterworth, where the line to see him was 2 hours long. That's how people felt about him. Paula and I send our deepest condolences to Gayle and the family. Well done, Phil. Well done.

I had the opportunity to meet Phil during my tenure at Butterworth Hospital. He was a good man, an honest and excellent administrator, that was always ready to help us physicians.
I am sure that many of those that worked under his leadership have similar feelings
.
My condolences to his wife and family.

I knew Mr. McCorkle from his time at Spectrum Health. He was held in the highest esteem by EVERYONE (including myself) who knew the high caliber an individual he was. He was a wonderful man who kindly and quietly raised the standard of an individual of executive stature. He contributed to the betterment of all those around him! My condolences to his family. RIP, Mr McCorkle! Well done!
