Not sure what to say?

We are so grateful for Pem's leadership as Head of School during a transformative time at The Calhoun School in New York City. The thoughts of our entire Calhoun community are with his family during this time.

Wonderful memories of Mr. McCurdy as my biology teacher at Beaver many years ago. He was an excellent, enthusiatic teacher who instilled a love of science and of teaching that remains to this day. My deepest condolences to his family. Please know he was admired, respected and often remembered fondly all these years, and will be for many years to come.

May his memory be eternal! Mr. McCurdy was an exceedingly fine man who always found a way for my father to afford Beaver Country Day for the three of who attended. In addition, he assured that the teachers and the curriculum was the very best. As an educator, I think back and continue to marvel at what a blessing it was to be under his care. Thank you for everything Mr. McCurdy.

He taught science/biology at the Rockland Country Day school when I was a student there. Fond memories of his class. Sorry for your loss.

Remembered as my Headmaster from my time a Beaver Country Day School.

Forever grateful that he believed in me and mentored me as a student at Beaver Country Day School. I think of him often as I work with students. The good that he did in this world will continue to ripple long into the future.

Fond memories Of my Kingfield neighbor. P E M

Rest easy my friend.
