Not sure what to say?

I met Phil several years ago and will always remember him for his good humour and stories from his military and police background. The common denominator in being with Phil was that there was always lots of laughter no matter how serious your mood. Im sorry you left so early buddy, your pal Dave and I still talk about you a lot.

I met Phil when we were neighbors in Ridge, and became close friends. Everytime I tie a bowline on a bight or a clove hitch over a post or pipe, I think of him teaching me. He was a repository of field knowledge that I continue to carry. I miss ya pal.

I was heartbroken when i heard that my dad passed away. I feel sorry for people who didn't know him.It seemed like everyone that knew him loved him, especially people who did time. People who remembered him are the lucky ones!

I was saddened to read of Phil's passing, I recall fondly working with Phil while assigned to Highway Patrol. He always displayed the high standards Highway Patrol maintained. Thank you for your service fellow officer, may our Lord bless you on your new assignment.

I am saddened and shocked to learn of his passing
Phil worked for me in E.S., and always had a smile on his face. He was a dedicated and loyal Officer, ready to stand in harms way and get the job done. He proved this to me many times in the effort he put forth and did not hesitate for any reason. Many officers have and or will take the position Phil held in E. S., but the department will not find the likes of Phil among the ordinary that will replace him. I hold him in high esteem. GOD...

We know we were not related by blood but he was never anything but Uncle Phil to us. We grew up knowing he was our fathers best friend and our uncle. He was loved greatly by our whole family and he will be missed very much by all of us. We are so sorry for your loss and you are in our prayers. All our love Kathleen and Chris
