Philip D. Miller

My sincere condolences to Phil's family during this time. As a member of the Howard Miller Company, along with many that shared many years with Phil, fairwell to a fine man.

Will miss him as a friend.

I was blessed to be one of the pastors for the Miller family from 1983-1995, I grieve Phil´s passing and am grateful for the hours we spent together on Consistory at CMC, hours spent together on the Board of Trustees at Hope College and Western Theological Seminary. Nancy Miller was my first English Professor at Hope College and she helped me bloom as a thinker and as a person. I will carry her in my heart and name her in my prayers for a very long. Nancy - so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. I recall you and Phil being in small group with my parents, Tom & Mary Bos, when we were members at Christ Memorial. I think Chris and Derek and I were in Sunday School together as well. Our deepest sympathies during this sad and difficult time for you and your family.

Nancy and family, Deb and I will truly miss Phil. He was one of our heroes! He encouraged us, supported us and provided inspiration for us to try to do some of the things that we have done. I regret that we will be in Spain during the memorial service but am convinced that if we had talked to Phil a few weeks ago, he would have smiled and told us to go on the trip. Bob and Deb Sterken
