Philip Orth

It is a sad day to lose a man whose influence we saw not only in Sarah, Leah, and Julia, but in many aspects of Milwaukee life itself. He was a great man only made greater by giving so wholly himself to the community and his family. We are greatful for the ways he touched our life, albeit indirectly, still very positively. God bless you Orth family, our prayers are with you. On behalf of the Namdari and McMillan families.

My Mom just gave me the sad news about Mr. Orth. My Dad was up in heaven waiting for him as they were best friends for so long. I loved visiting Milwaukee and spending time with the family and loved it when you visited D.C. especially for my parents 50th anniversary which was very special. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Mariette and the family. Phil and I served on the Milwaukee Harbor Commission in the 60's. His good humor is fondly remembered by all who served with him.

Phil truly loved life and lived it well. The world of Rotary International has been blessed with his leadership and vision. With our sincere sympathy to the Orth family.

Always ready with a kind word or funny joke, Mr. Orth will be dearly missed. I'm saddened to hear of his passing, but look forward to seeing him when we meet again in Heaven. We pray the Lord would comfort you especially at this time.

Dear Orth Family--not only was Mr. Orth an outstanding and generous community leader,but he always made me feel welcome in your beautiful Terrace Avenue home. He had a warm smile and always a great joke to share. Our families spent many fun evenings together full of laughter and celebration--many fond memories.
Sadly, civic/business leaders of his generation are a vanishing treasure in Milwaukee.
