Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Europe as a member of the 94th Infantry Division which the 302nd Infantry was a part of in General Patton's 3rd Army. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. The 94th saw heavy combat from September of 1944 to the end of the War in May 1945.
