Not sure what to say?

We do much enjoyed Phil here at the Plaza! He always was positive to his life at Terwilliger Plaza. We miss him...

I recall working with Phil one day when in the midst of our discussion he let out a muffled "ow". While many of us would have been writhing in bed with the same problem, Phil was working that day while trying to pass a kidney stone.

Thank you to Phil´s family for unselfishly sharing him with those of us who worked at Emanuel Hospital. As a former burn nurse, I worked alongside Phil for 25 years. Over the years, Phil shared stories about his children. Sometimes they were mundane tales about feeding toddlers, and sometimes they were expressions of great pride. Very sorry to hear of your loss.

As a Loomis classmate and Dartmouth room-mate and Dartmouth Outing Club pal, I have lots of good memories of Phil - and Bobbie. He was always thoughtful, earnest, and fun to share adventures with. He accomplished so much good in his medical career. May he rest in peace.

I had the honor and pleasure to work with Phil for more than 20 years at Emanuel Hospital. Always the gentleman, no matter how nit witty my advice, come to think of it, was Phil ever wrong?

Worked with Phil many years at Emanuel. He was a great physician and a good friend. Very sorry to hear about his death

It is with sadness to learn of Phil's death. He and Bobbi were wonderful neighbors and friends. I miss all those special times. To Marianne, Jeff, Philip, Lisa and their families, I extend loving thoughts and my deepest sympathy.

Our Men' Group at Terwilliger Plaza loved Phil. He was always quiet, but when he spoke, it was with admirable wisdom and thoughtfulness. We will miss him. Allen
