My wife and I always bumped into Phil and his friends having breakfast at Scotty's Restaurant at Gilroy Bowl. He was always so nice, and greeted us every time-he lived just down the street. When my wife died, Phil invited me to join the "breakfast club" so I wouldn't be so lonely. He was a kind, gregarious man who knew so much about Gilroy's recent history-and loved to tell all about it! Condolences to the family. There are many in Gilroy who will miss Phil!

I remember talking to you at Bill's drugs, Phil! You were always available to give advice or just for a pleasant chat. Condolences to your family and Elk family too.

2 pharmacists who worked together at Bill´s Drug in the 80´s are going to be buried the same day!!! Joe and Phil shared a lot of good times!!! Enjoy your heavenly home!!! God bless you all! Cathy Kuschell

My friendship with Phil was through Elkdom! He was always good natured and helpful as a brother Elk! He will be missed by all of us!

My genuine condolence to Phil's family.....How he will be missed!! Great guy, genuine and liked by all....Phil and I go back to our pharmacy years.....everyone loved him , trusted him, and looked up to him.....RIP friend....Sincerely Mary C Saccullo

Phil will forever be loved and missed by the Rocha family, he was such a beautiful person to our family. Got the opportunity to meet him back in 1998 but the friendship him and my husband built was this last 10 years so thankful we got to know him on this earth until we see him again we send prayers and love to all his family that he loved dearly as well all his friends!

To the family of Phil, he was a wonderful, thoughtful, and giving person who was a joy to be associated with in and out of Elks,, We survived the same profession and worked closely for the betterment of the clients,, Rip Phil and now you are pain free!!

I am a fellow Elk. Phil spent time with me when I first joined explaining and showing by example what it means to be an Elk. He was an all-around good guy and a great friend. Phil was also a Corvette owner, so we spent lots of time talking about our mutual hobby. My wife and I will miss Phil at Elks events. Rest in peace good friend.
