Not sure what to say?

Dr. Rentschler was one of a kind dentist. He always treated me with respect and care. He was a very generous and uplifting man. I will miss going to his office. My sympathies and prayers go to his family and staff.

My thoughts and prayers to Sandy, Mark and Bryan on the loss of one of the finest friends a man could ever have. From the early years until we moved from the area we enjoyed so many 'happenings'. It was my great honor to be the best man at the wedding of these two wonderful people. Sandy, we will all miss his spirit, he taught me a lot.........I hope I did a little for him.
Love always, Rann

Our prayers and thoughts are with your family during this difficult time. May the great memories and funny stories carry through. Know that we are with you!

Even though his "chair-side" manner was unigue to say the least, Dr. Rentchler was a very kind and giving man. People don't realize his dedication and how he would make denistry "affordable" to all. I admired him and his love for life, and sense of humor.

Doc will be missed by all that knew him! I will miss his music & his humor at his office! Deepest sympathy to his family and his employees!

My fond memories of Phil date back to early West Intermediate. His quick smile meant there was a joke in the offing. I have a photo of Phil, Sandy and Rann Lincoln at the 50th Class Reunion where Phil was crossing his eyes for the pose. I will remember him fondly. Say hi to my dear brother, Paul, UP THERE, Phil.

Doc Rentschler was not only my first and only dentist until I moved to Grand Rapids at the age of 38, he was a tremendous friend of our family. He very graciously shared the use of his property with our family for the past 35 years - creating memories that will be with me forever. You never quite knew what to expect from Doc during a visit to his office or when he called but you could generally be assured it would be interesting! My most sincere blessings to his family.

Phil Rentschler and I were absolutely best friends in high school and this relationship continued at the University of Michigan. Many meals were enjoyed at the Rentschler's and Mrs. Rentschler was a happy, fun loving lady who made the best chili that I have ever tasted. Phil spent loads of time at our house on Horton Rd. and at our summer home on Clark Lake. The screens on our porch at the lake often needed repair after spirited ping pong games that Phil and I contested. I last saw him at our...

Dr. Rentschler was my first dentist when I was very young- although a scary time back then for a youngster, he and my Mom enstilled in me the need to take care of ones teeth and I appreciate that a great deal. I also remember him giving me a shiny penny when He extracted my front teeth- quite a sum of money back then...
Thank you Dr. Rentschler, you will always be remembered fondly..
Bless you! Doug Lovitt
