One memory that Phil remembered from Catholic Memorial was a fender bender coming back from hockey practice. All was well with no one hurt, thanks to the equipment bags that served as padding in the station wagon.

I first met Phil Riley at West Point in 1976. My husband Tim, also a West Point graduate, and I were neighbors of the Rileys. Our children played together in the communal backyard. We became friends and continued our friendship over the years. I have many fond memories of the times that we spent together with Phil. He was a good man and will be missed. My sympathy goes out to his family, especially Becky, Andrew and Kathleen. Jane Daly Gabbay Fairfax, VA

My deepest condolences on your loss. Mr Riley was a good man. One of my fondest memories of him was that he use to call me "Again" when I would call Rebecca. He will be greatly missed.
