Philip Routzahn

9th grade ski club would not have been as much fun without Phil. I´d never skied, I learned and he was one who took the time to show me a few pointers! Then one night he took me on Cannonsburgs Tbar and said, let´s do this! He breezed down and it took me forever! But now I´ve skied Utah and Colorado mountains! Thanks Phil for all the laughs and friendship! Thinking of Laura and the family as you remember this great guy you got to call husband and dad!

Just found out... Phil was a good Ottawa high school skiing friend. We took our first ski trip to Frisco CO in 1971 or 1972 with two other buddies. Dan Crittenden and Dan Doyle. We stayed in Frisco CO at a small hotel for $20 (all four of us) and skied Vail for 10 or 15 $ a day. What a great life experience for a bunch of 16 year old Canonsburg skiers. Phil and I reminisced at out 50th class reunion about that trip and laughed a lot. I looked for him at our 55th, but did not know....

Laura, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. He would visit our store and was a very kind and wonderful man. So sorry for your loss. May God bless you and him. May his memory be eternal.

Laura, so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine that after two years of an illness that it becomes a blessing to have found a peace in the hereafter. Hopefully your family can find comfort in knowing he is in a better place. Best wishes going forward. Pat and Nancy Peters

Laura, Cindy Kadish gave us the sad news that Phil had passed. Unfortunately we found out after the funeral had already finished. Maureen and I will definitely be keeping you and Phil in our thoughts and prayers. Dave Krhovsky
