ROWLAND, JR., Philip Entered into eternal rest at his residence on March 5, 2005, Philip Patrick Rowland, Jr., 69, husband of Jeanne Slaughter Rowland, of Sumter, SC. He was born in Charleston, a son of the late Philip Patrick Rowland, Sr. and Veronica Bolchoz Rowland. He worked as a SC Director and Addiction Specialist for the past 7 years, was a former director of Any Length Recovery Community in Sumter and worked for Fenwick Hall Hospital for over 15 years. He was well known for helping many people, was a Lecturer and motivational speaker and was an avid golfer. He was Roman Catholic Surviving in addition to his wife are : one daughter, Veronica Morgan of Macon, GA; a step-daughter, Katherine Iseley of Charleston; one sister, Diana Smith of Charleston; and four grandchildren. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Philip P. Rowland are invited to attend his Funeral Liturgy at 7:00 PM, Thursday March 10, 2005, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy.
