Not sure what to say?

Although we no longer live in California we still maintain contact with Carolinda as she represents for me my fond memory of growing up in Rochester with some of the Rubinstein's and completed that connection in California. Although we now live in Oregon we still maintain a close interaction with her and with Phil always in the background. A wonderful family, without a doubt.

I served with Phil in the 4th Infantry Division in WWII. He was like a father to me. I saw him a year and a half ago; we shared pictures and had a great afternoon. I will always remember him.

May he rest in peace--

Paul Russello

What a wonderful man. Our opera group will miss him.

Henry Cohen

Phil Rubenstein has been a part of my life since I was born 74 years ago. Will miss seeing him when we make our occasional trips to Rochester and certainly will miss his visits to our home in California. He represents the end of that generation in my father's side of the family. He will be missed but never forgotten.
