Not sure what to say?

Hi Joanne and family,

Don and I were sorry to hear of Phil's death. We used to run into him while walking at Green Lake. We did not know that he had been sick. We always enjoyed visiting with him. Please accept our condolences and pass them on to his children whom we did not know.

Sincerely,
Don and Bev Carney Petterelli

Mars met Phil through a passion for cars Mars had a 409 Chevy. I grew up on 212 S. Central Ave. around the corner from Phil and went to school with him and my sister Barb. We were so sorry that he passed away. I feel your loss.

I remember Phil very well from the good old days at Minoa High. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Phil and I grew up on the same street and went to school together in Minoa. We spent lots of time at each other's houses. I have so many memories I could not begin to recount them. In recent years I have run into Phil at Wegman's a few times - enough for him to tell me how dear his daughter and grandchildren were to him. We reminisced a bit and it was clear that we held each other and our time together dear. Joanne, it is left to you to carry on. There were trial and tribulations, but...

I am sorry to hear of Phil's death. He babysat for my brother Mark and me when we were young. He gave wonderful stomach rides to Elvis music. His family and ours were close. I had Mrs. Ryan for my first grade teacher and his sister Joanne taught me by 9 multiplication tables. I remember Phil was always working on cars in the yard. Although I haven't seen him over the years, his memory is clear and will fondly remain.

My sympathy and thoughts go out to the family of Philip. I have known Phil since early childhood .. His mother was one of my very first teachers. They were both very caring and loving people and I know Philip thought so very much of her.I saw Phil about five years ago and we were able to catch up on old times. That was great...I will keep you "family and friends" in prayer...Sharon "Plumpton" Rose.

My sympathy to all of Phil's family and friends. I am sorry to hear of his passing and know he will be missed.

I have known Phil since I was a child and always remember him as a gentleman and his love for cars. I remember his mother also as a wonderful women. Now they are together for eternity. There will be much sadness with his passing. My sympathy to the family. Hello Cindy. I am sorry for your loss. I miss your funny sense of humor at work. Miss you...Fondly Patti Cooper Walker
