Not sure what to say?

What I have to say would overload the server. Truly kind, uniquely witty, unhesitatingly generous. Yet feisty and quite the warrior when a cold wind blew in his direction or at those he loved. Hard to comprehend that he left us.

Phil was a friend and co-worker of mine at the Board of Elections. We setup polling locations together and Phil was a very hard worker who never even mentioned that he was a heart transplant recipient. I knew him for several years before a mutual acquaintance informed me of his situation. I will greatly miss his easygoing personality and the many interesting conversations we had about sports, music and beer/wine/food.

My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.

So very sorry to learn of Phil’s passing. So strong and full of courage! We are also sorry that we are not in Ohio at this time so must miss the services. But our hearts are will all our cousins and family at such a sad time.

We will miss you.

We are so very sorry to hear of Phil's passing. He was such a strong, courageous, and positive person. He really made the most of life with such gratitude for all he could do and enjoy after his transplant. We send lots of love and prayers to all the family. I am sad we are in South Carolina and cannot be there with you at this time, but our hearts are with yours. Love, Carolyn and Bill

Loving Light Dishgarden

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

You will be missed. You brought great joy to everyone you met. You will live on in my heart and mind forever.

Condolences to Cindy and family on the loss of Phil. What an all-around great guy Phil was....the master of putting together birthday rhymes inside the card he was giving one for their birthday...lots of laughs with those rhymes. Always funny and kind. You will be greatly missed my friend. RIP.
