Not sure what to say?

My parents, Bert and Dick Fine were neighbors of Phil´s on Crystal Count in Tabor Hills. They enjoyed going out to dinner with Phil. Following my mother´s passing, when I was in town visiting my dad, we often called Phil and took him to lunch at either Cracker Barrel or The Colonial Inn. Our condolences to your family.

Both Mr. & Mrs. Scheel taught me accounting in my high school years. This was THE most important thing that ever happened to me. They opened the door that showed me where my future would lead. Their positive encouragement in what I understood in their classes has been a major part of where I am today. Thank you, thank you. I truly am grateful for all they both gave me. May they both rest in peace & know they truly made a difference.

I grew up nextdoor to Nancy and Phil. I'm so sad to see this. I wanted to call my mom, and then remembered she passed away 2 years ago.

Phil was an amazing man. He was my teacher at NHS back in the early 80s. I reconnected with Phil about 20 years ago and we would meet up a few times a year for lunch. Even as an adult, Phil was able to teach me things. He has such a soft heart and was always genuinely interested in what was happening in my life. I will miss our lunches and our talks Phil. God bless.

We traveled with Phil on a cruise and he was a delight to be with. We had lunch and dinners together. He was good man and we had great memories. RIP...

Remember him well from H S a great man and educator

Prayers to Phil family members he was a wonderful man willing to do so much for everyone. I worked with Phil regarding Illinois DECA. We had been friends for over 30 years. He will be missed.
