Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to the Shaughnessy family. Phil was a delight to know and work with at Aetna for many years. His sense of humor, knowledge, and mentorship will always be fondly remembered.

We have lost a good friend--I hired Phil at The Aetna in 1955 and grew together opening new doors, forging new paths with computers making "things" happen. Phil was a terrific partner and all around good person. Love to"the kids", stay safe. be well and ENJOY.

my condolences go out to the family a beautiful person with a heart of gold riheavenly peace gone but never forgotten

I loved Phil's sense of humor. He was a great guy! He was on a steering committee for one of my big projects, and his incite was spot on.

Visiting daughter Linda and myself, I remember Phil climbing way up into an orange tree to pick fresh oranges at a friend's SoCal orchard, just because he could. He picked way more than we could possibly consume but he had a ton of fun doing it. It was written all over his face. I also remember him taking pictures of the golf course at the end of our road, in Altadena, CA, on a glorious, warm Christmas day so he could show his golfing buddies back in frigid Conn. what golfers do on Christmas...
