Not sure what to say?

I met Phil through my late partner, Eric Oie, at Southwest State in Marshall, MN so many years ago. Eric died on July 22, 2022. Love to his family and close friends. Judith.

You get to play with some of the best now Phil. I'll be seeing you up there someday. In the mean time, I'll remember jamming with you here in this earthy realm.

I knew Phi from the 1 room school we attended. I met him quite a a few years later when he was playing at Friendly Inn. He remembered all of us and we had a nice little chat. It is sad to see someone so young and talented leave this earth, but he is up there playing in heaven. Condolences to is family

So long to a good friend. I enjoyed every minute of working with Phil at the Hospital. So many philosophical conversations, all followed by laughs when we figured we had all life's problems figured out. He will be missed by everyone lucky enough to have known him.

I truly believe Phil lived the "Rock'n'Roll" fantasy. I'll miss his quick wit and flat Scandinavian humor. The local music world got a little bit smaller.

Phil was the lead guitar player in our band in Staples. Little Moran River Band. He played with us starting in 2013. He was talented, funny, kind and thoughtful. He never missed a practice. He loved playing and performing. The last time we visited he said he was playing with us again in August even though he could hardly keep his eyes open from his pain medication. We all loved Phil. He will be missed but not forgotten. Our prayers to his family.

My deepest sympathy to Alison, Diane and family. Phil and I had many good conversations in my entry way while he was picking Alison up from daycare. He was always so kind and thoughtful. He adored you Alison. His youngest baby girl. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
